Poesia e Meraviglia

Io non pensavo al modo che vivevo
e non cercavo mai dentro il profondo
un senso del capire dire fare.
La poesia mi prese e fu un miracolo
di meraviglia e di condivisione

Misi un anno a scrivere
la mia prima poesia
dedicata all’Italia

Un bel gioco, un bellissimo gioco,
e una volta insieme giocammo
anche alla bella Italia.
La meraviglia mi precipitò
in una dimensione diversa,
estranea, terrifica, mal pensabile.
Parola dietro parola,
pezzetto di carta con pezzetto di carta,
endecasillabo dopo endecasillabo.

Hi Wes, thanks for the note (sorry I am late rdesonping, things have been hectic this summer ) The painting is an amalgam of a few things real and a few things imagined. However, that house palazzo really is right on the outskirts (coming from Matera) of Bernalda, on the last curve into town. The trees and waterlogged areas are my addition to the scene, hoping I suppose for more rain here! Have a great trip here in Italy!

Absolutely stunning, adbloare images. I must tell you again that your workshop was so, so great and it helped me so much. I had a few newborn sessions since I watched it and I feel much more confident in what Ib4m doing now and my images have become much better than before. Thank you again for everything you shared with us!
